Their Sacred Role & Responsibilities

Guided by the Holy Spirit and biblical principles, the Elders Council assists the pastor in various aspects of church life. Their responsibilities include:

  • Spiritual Leadership: Providing spiritual oversight, offering guidance in matters of faith and doctrine.
  • Pastoral Support: Assisting the pastor in preaching, teaching, and administering ordinances like baptism and communion.
  • Membership Care: Visiting members, comforting the sick and bereaved, and offering spiritual counsel.

  • Church Governance: Participating in church board meetings and making decisions for the church's effective operation.
